My big yellow school bus!! As I walk to it to start it to warm up before I leave on my route I say a prayer ! Dear lord Please help me to do & say the right things to each child or teen on my bus! I home school my son & this is also one of the reasons! The things other kids say & do on the school bus would make you blush.. the talk & topics! I just took over this route a few weeks ago & have really got a BUNCH of bad eggs. It really makes a person wonder what kind of homes these kids have for them to do & say the things they do. The distruction of property & the pure disrespect for one another! I have assigend seats now & really cracked down on the vulgar talk. I have took several kids in for many differnt bad behaviors. 2 are off until after the first of the year 2010 for slashing seats! The bullieing & mean-ness has calmed down some! But they still have a long way to go! Please pray for me!! As I need them everyday to & from school.. Pray for a safe trip to & from, pray for me to do & say the right things & to make the right choses! For their & my saftey! Bus driving is s very stressful & demanding job..
