The core of “Us” at Professor Mom’s Schoolhouse is Leslie Lundgren. 99.9% of the time, she will be the one answering the phone, processing the orders, paying the bills, working with the vendors, and encouraging the families that come to our office/store. Teaching was and is what she wants to do when she grows up, and she considers it a great blessing, honor, and privilege to be entrusted with such a great task. Her involvement with the local homeschool support group (JCHE) not only provided great opportunities of blessings for her family, but opened doors to encourage others in their homeschooling. It started with setting up tables for a curriculum fair, and has now blossomed to include volunteering as a captain for Ski School, coordinating for Outdoor School, and running this online homeschool curriculum store. Now that her children have graduated from home school “high school,” she splits her time between private tutoring and running the “store.” James, her husband of 23 years and better half, most trusted confidant, and faithful cheerleader, provides valuable support in numerous aspects. James is a stedfast, loyal partner that often tempers Leslie’s intensity; but it is Jesus Christ who is their Rock, and Source of strength.

Melvin and Amy Jackson (Leslie & Amy are sisters) provided the capital for James & Leslie to purchase Professor Mom’s Schoolhouse. They also homeschool their three children, ages 8, 13, and 14. Though they consider themselves silent partners, their love, support, encouragement, generosity, advice, and drive are valuable assets that speak loudly of their dedication to family.
